The following terms and conditions of sale constitute a binding agreement  which applies to all items leased on the www.theringforge.co.uk website. Customers are reminded that these terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. Please read them carefully, you may wish to print a copy for future reference.

E-mail enquiries: We aim to answer queries promptly. However, due to the high volume of emails received, at certain times, we are unable to respond as quickly as we may wish. If enquiring about an order it will help us if you can provide your name, address, phone number, date and the item(s) ordered, along with the e-mail address if sent online, particularly if you have several.

Acceptance of order

Your acceptance of these terms, by leasing items online, represents an offer of contract from you and will become binding on acceptance by us. Acceptance will be on receipt by you of an e-mail, sent by us, or of the goods dispatched by us. Any errors or omissions in any prices, despatch note, invoice or other documentation of any information issued by us via our website from time to time shall be subject to correction without liability on our part. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of any order submitted by you.

General Orders

All Jewellery or Celebrity Items leased must be paid for in full before delivery. Contemporary Silver (trading as Theringforge.co.uk) will continue to own, and reserve the right to repossess any goods leased from its website. Payments are made via our payment providers secure server. Our Online payment gateways are listed below and we bank with Alliance & Leicester. All prices quoted are in pounds sterling.

This is a subscription service. You will be billed immediately upon placing your order for the first 7 day rental period. The first rental period includes an additional 5 days to allow for order processing and delivery. After which you will be billed every 7 days until the jewellery or Celebrity Dress is returned.



Q & A'S

Q:  What if the style I want is not currently available?

Contact us and let us know which piece you want.  We are constantly adding additional pieces to the inventory. We continually review e-mailed requests and may add additional pieces of popular styles to our inventory based on those requests. We’ll let you know immediately if this occurs for a piece you desire.


Q:  May I rent  the jewellery or Celebrity Dresses for other events?

Absolutely. Theringforge.co.uk is a perfect solution any time you desire the glamour that our unique style brings.

Q:  How will my order arrive?

Your order will be delivered directly to you (UK DELIVERY ONLY). We will notify you via e-mail when your order is shipped and also tracking information. Also, because we require a signature for delivery, select a shipping address where someone will be available to receive and sign for the shipment during the day time.

Q:  Do I need to pay for shipping or insurance when I return the items?

Yes, You are responsible for all insurance and shipping cost back to us.

Q: Do you require an additional security deposit?

No (Except in the case of the celebrity dresses)

Q:  What happens if I don’t return the jewellery or the celebrity dresses by the designated time?

We request that you return all items leased promptly. However, due to the nature of our business, it’s very important that you return the leased items on time. If you’re 3-7 days late, you will be charged a late fee equivalent to an additional rental period. If you’re 8-14 days late, you will be charged pursuant to the terms and conditions of your lease an amount equal to the Retail Value attributable to each item (Visit Contemporarysilver.com for current Retail value). If the leased goods are returned in good condition within 3 days of the end of the required rental period any excess charges will be refunded.

Q: What if I have lost the item or the item has become damaged?

If the item arrives damaged notify us immediately or the damage will be classed as accidental damage forfeiting all monies paid. If the item is lost or damaged during the rental period you will be charged pursuant to the terms and conditions of your lease an amount equal to the Retail Value attributable to each item.
